Where can I find my bitcoin address?

You can find your Bitcoin Core (BTC) or Bitcoin Cash (BCH) address for receiving payments in the Receive section of the Bitcoin.com wallet. It will be the long string of numbers and letters directly below the QR code for that address.

All Bitcoin Core (BTC) addresses will start with the number "1" and Bitcoin Cash (BCH) addresses will either start with the number "1" for the old legacy format, or the letter "q" for the new BCH cash address format. There is also a Bitpay address format that starts with "C"

You can swap between the new address format, legacy format and the Bitpay format by tapping on the options under the address.

If you are using a "shared/multi-sig wallet" the Bitcoin Core (BTC) addresses will start with a "3" and Bitcoin Cash (BCH) addresses will start with a "p" for the cash address format, or "3" for the legacy format.

You can switch between your BTC and BCH addresses at the bottom of the page by tapping on the wallet name.

If you do not see the BCH address starting with the letter "q" please update your wallet to the latest version.

Please note that this address will change every time you receive a payment, however all previously used addresses can continue to receive payments into your wallet.
